VMware Tools attach with macOS High Sierra VMware Image which we provide for you. you don’t need download VMware Tools. but if you install macOS High Sierra From Image you have downloaded from other website you have to download the VMware Tools and insert the ISO file to your Virtual Machine and install VMware Tools.
2: Play macOS High Sierra Virtual Machine
Before going to install VMware Tools you have to install macOS High Sierra on VMware Virtual Machine and play the virtual machine.
For Playing Virtual Machine open VMware Workstation and click on Power on the virtual machine.
3: Install VMware Tools
When you choose VM > Install VMware Tools from the VMware Workstation menu, VMware Workstation temporarily connects the virtual machine’s first virtual CD-ROM drive to the ISO image file that contains the VMware Tools installer for your guest operating system and you are ready to begin the installation process.
VMware tools files inserted to your guest operating system. you have two option to install VMware Tools and Uninstall VMware Tools. click on install VMware Tools and follow the wizard guide.
Next, you will be guided to VMware Tools Installer Click on Continue.
VMware Tools is ready for installation this will take some space of your hard disk. Click on Install.
After you click on Install a pop-up window will ask you that when this installation is completed you need to restart your computer. agree to this and click on Continue Installation.
After you continue to VMware Tools Installation the System Security will ask for your login details while installing new software in your macOS High Sierra. Type the Password and Click Install Software.
This installation is not much time consuming only will take a few minutes to complete the installation.
While Completing the installation process, System Extension Pop-up will appear on your screen asking to allow the new extension, from security Preferences. click on Open Security Preferences.
In the Security & Privacy Setting page, Allow VMware Tools Extension.
After Allowing the Extension click on the Lock icon and type your login password and click on Unlock. and close the Security & Privacy Windows.
Everything Looks perfect now it’s time to restart the guest operating system click on Restart.
