Then, after extracting VMware Unlocker, a folder will be created. Subsequently, you have to open the folder and look for the file “Win-install.cmd”. After it has been found, you have to right-click on the file and run as an administrator.

Generally, the installation is auto in CMD. Therefore, you don’t need to do anything with CMD, it disappears once the installation is completed.

And now, when VMware Unlocker installation is completed, you are able to install macOS on VMware Virtual Machine.

Step 5: Create A New Virtual Machine

Certainly, every operating system will need some hardware resources like Ram, Hard Disk, Processor and many more to run. Next, you have to name your Virtual machine, and at the meanwhile, confirm the virtual machine’s location. Moreover, the browse button will help you to locate the virtual machine in any folder or drive you to want.

Then, the disk capacity needs to be specified. As the hard disk is the main important thing for any operating system, you need to have enough space to install an operating system. Hence, a minimum of 40GB should be allocated in VMware virtual machine. Finally, the hard disk file must be stored as a single file.

At this point, check the settings and configurations of your virtual machine. In this case, if you need any changes or something goes wrong, you can use the “customize hardware” button to change the settings.

Once, you confirm your virtual machine hardware setting, then click on “Finish” to formulate your virtual machine.

Step 6: Edit Virtual Machine Settings

Keeping in mind, the purpose of an edition of Virtual machine’s settings is to configure the virtual machine as per requirements of macOS High Sierra, its Ram, and its Processor. Now, you must click on the hard disk and remove the hard disk which VMware created. Afterwards, you should replace it with your existing macOS High Sierra VMware image.

At this point, you must select hard disk from the add hardware wizard. Then, you have to click on “next”.

Now here, SATA hard disk is recommended in order to proceed to next stage.

Here, on the virtual disk page, you have three options which are: create a new virtual disk, use the existing disk and use a physical disk. Remember that we have to select the second option which is “use the existing macOS Sierra VMware image”.  Then press “next”.

Now, you have to browse for macOS High Sierra VMware image. Thus, once you have confirmed the image file,  click on “open”.

Hence, you have successfully selected your Existing disk for macOS High Sierra Installation. Then, “Finish” must be clicked.

Ultimately, you are done with the edition of the virtual machine’s settings for macOS High Sierra. Afterward, click on “OK” to close the windows.

Step 7: Edit Virtual Machine VMX File

Step 9: Install VMware Tools – Full-Screen View
