In this section of my article, I’m going to create a new virtual machine with VMware Workstation Pro. After opening VMware Workstation Pro. I’m given some options on the home page that I can create a new virtual machine. I can open an existing virtual machine. I can open a virtual machine by connecting to the VMware remote server or I could connect to VMware vCloud ait lets’ Create a new Virtual machine so I’ll click on Create a New Virtual Machine Button.
And on the new virtual machine wizard, I’ll choose typical or recommended.
Now I’m given a choice between installing from an installation disk if I had some installation media like DVD installer for an operating system. Or I could install from a disk image file directly from an ISO file. Or I can create my virtual machine first and then install the operating system afterward I’m gonna choose the last option and click on next.
And now I need to choose which operating system I’m intending to put on this virtual machine. I’m gonna be using Apple Mac OS X, and I’m gonna install macOS Mojave 10.14, which is the latest version of macOS Mojave and will go next.
And give my virtual machine a name I’ll put here “macOS Mojave 10.14“. And then I can also choose the location I’ll choose another Drive to store this virtual machine I’ll click Next
I’ll choose “Store Virtual Disk as a Single File”, option and the maximum disk size is 40 gigabytes I think I can get away with making it a little bit smaller so I’ll change that to 20 GB, okay so I’ll click Next
